After seeing Picasso’s exhibition of Sylvette David’s portrayings in 1954, Roger Vadim advised his young wife Brigitte Bardot to dye her hair blond and to tie them up in a pony tail.
In 1956, when Bardot met Picasso, she asked him to make her portray. He refused and told her that he already painted Sylvette.
