Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m as exciting as a novel character. My life is very casual, too much for my taste. I do feel like I belong to another time but this kind of feeling seems widely shared.

I try to stay true to myself. Most of the time, people don’t get it. Those who are ready for stormy days become my friends.

I don’t think I know much about cinema. Many other bloggers have a bigger knowledge on the subject. Tumblr helped me to learn about plenty of amazing films.

Anyway, I love your perception of what I am. Yes, through the screen, everything is like twisted. Certainly I’m not as colorful as my blog in the real life. I will remember your messages for a long time for I have never received such moving letters like that. They go straight to my heart :-)

The blame is on me. I used to have two lines to introduce myself on my page, I changed them a few months ago, deleting some informations. I’m a young woman but I must confess that I’m more than flattered to be thought as “a young and handsome english gentleman”, as strange as it may sound. Your words surprised me, for the best :-)

I haven’t read The Secret History. I have such a curious nature, now I want to read it ! The Wikipedia page of the novel (a bit ashamed to refer to such a poor authority) describes Henry Winter as ” a linguistic genius”… I’m obsessed with languages and my future job is closely linked to linguistics.

Today, Fantômas-en-cavale celebrates its first birthday. This morning, you were more than 9,000 to follow this blog. Is it even real ?

For those who know the blog well (and who remember the horrible purple theme of the beginnings!), they may have noticed that I hardly write about myself. I usually leave notes like this one only to thank people, to scream my love for the other bloggers. to say how much I enjoy blogging.

This message is no exception. How can I be original ? Thanks for following the mess of my mind that finds its expression through my posts ! Thanks for making me discover artists, films, society matters, etc. etc.

I’m afraid to be taken for some kind of snobbish, cold, distant person. I’m not but at the same time, I don’t feel like talking about my life on the internet. I do love talking to you, bloggers, but I think the most important is to live in the real world, not too much in a virtual area.

I’d like to give to all of you a real french bise, this silly custom consisting in giving a kiss on the cheek without actually doing it.
