“Oh no - not that one. I can’t bear it. Not what’s your favorite kind of girl again. I haven’t got one. The most beautiful girl in the world might turn up and I could hate the sight of her in five minutes flat. The personality, the character, then the face. Oh, don’t make the mistake that I’m being all noble about beauty and saying it doesn’t matter in a girl. I could never marry an ugly girl no matter how nice her personality.
Patience, understanding and intelligence. If I knew exactly what kind of girl was right for me I’d have found her by now. None of the girls that I date have anything particular in common. It’s nice if we have some kind of basic interest in music or sketching. I’ve still got a hangover from art school.
If I ever got really serious about a girl I’d have to keep her away from this business. Show-business can warp and twist a person. It’s a huge forest of incredible ideals and distorted values. Any girl I really cared about would have to be kept well away from that side of things.
I’m a loner, remember - all part of the image. I don’t think I could become serious over a girl yet - even if the girl looked like Françoise Hardy. Well, maybe in her case I could stretch a point.”—Scott (Walker) Engel Flip, 1966 September (via black-sheep-girl)
I know it’s very cliché but the whole balance between looks/attitudes/way to talk. Love to check eyes, hands and hair though !
Do you collect anything ? If so, what ?
Vinyl discs and books .
if you could invite 6 people for dinner, who would you invite? (famous or not, dead or alive, fictional or real)
I’d actually invite three people of my family who passed before I was born. Then, the choice would be too hard ! Marcel Proust, Eugène Delacroix and… I don’t know ! Vincent Price, Anita Conti, Antonin Artaud, Paul Simonon from The Clash, Vittorio Gassman, Beryl Markham… Can’t choose !!!
who’s you favourite fictional character? why?
Probably Albertine from Proust’s novels. First, I love this firstname (even if most people find it utterly ugly and unfeminine). I can see so much of myself in her (including the vulgar sides of her) without being able to explain it in a rational way. She’s also like a friend to me (just as the narrator of the Recherche becomes little by little part of your life).
if you could have any hair colour, which one would you choose?
Red hair (my mother’s hair colour).
who is your ultimate otp?
Brrr, awful question ! What about the otps I haven’t discovered yet ??
have you ever met IRL someone you met online? (is my sentence grammatically correct? I think not!) how did it go?
Yes, a couple of times. Started well, ended bad (mostly by my fault). Lost a very dear friend because of my shitty attitude :-/
what perfume do you wear?
It changes very often but Miss Dior (the original) has been a favourite for many years.
do you follow current fashion? or are you into vintage/repro fashion? (or maybe you’re not into clothes at all?) any stores/brand you recommend?
I don’t really follow fashion. I usually mix casual clothes you can find anywhere with a vintage element (hairstyle, shoes, skirt…). I love retro fashion on other people but I don’t feel comfortable in a whole vintage outfit, except for special events or parties.
do you want to have children? (not right now? or maybe right now? one day? never? “I have Loubis that’s way better, they’re less expensive and they don’t cry”?)
I want twins ! But only if I meet the right person. If not, I’d give all my love to a bunch of cats.
do you have tattoos? want tattoos?
No and no. As for retro fashion, I love gorgeous tattoos on other people but don’t fancy it for myself.

8. Talk about a woman (anonymous or famous) you admire !
9. What poster/painting/drawing can we see on your walls ?
